cropped-10001429_10153141356609885_3004318183967667602_n.jpgIt’s been an eventful last few days for the band. We want to thank everyone who came to see us either at Proud or at Stoned on Love festival. A special big hug to War Child UK for having us in such a top event and creating such a good vibe at The Finsbury.

There has been a lot happening in The Statue Thieves family, so let’s start with some sad news. Our bassist Alex recently decided to part ways with us due to lack of time and to external commitments. Alex was one of the founders of this band and has been part of the materialisation of ‘Statues of Realisation’, ‘Formation’ and our forthcoming EP due to release next month. It’s been a shock but we respect his decision and wish him the best in his personal and musical life.

If there is anything positive at all in this, it’s that overcoming such difficulties makes us reaffirm that we are here, we have a lot to say and a lot to offer and we will continue doing so, louder than ever. We have re-worked our songs for a 3-piece for the time being, and we are thrilled with the response our new set got over this weekend.

We’ll bring some shinier news about our next EP tomorrow. Stay tuned, and thanks for your continuing support. It means everything.
